Certified Home Watch & Property Monitoring in Southern Maine

Owning a seasonal home in Maine is a gift—until winter rolls in and you’re left wondering what’s happening back at the lake.

Pine Tree Home Watch provides professional home watch and property monitoring services in Southern Maine and the Sebago Lakes Region, offering routine, boots-on-the-ground inspections when your home, cabin, or condo is unoccupied.

When homes sit empty, small issues turn into big problems:

  • Roof leaks
  • Ice dams
  • Frozen or burst pipes
  • Animal infestations
  • Break-ins or vandalism
  • Power outages, sump pump failures, tripped breakers

Left unnoticed, these can lead to mold, flooding, structural damage, and thousands in repairs. That’s why we’re here.

We’re certified, insured, and detail-obsessed, with every visit followed by a detailed report so you’re never left in the dark. We check what smart devices can’t—and act before issues escalate.

  • Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
  • Certified Home Watch Professional
  • Proudly serving Naples, Raymond, Casco, Bridgton, Windham, and the greater Sebago Lakes Region

OUR SERVICES

WHAT IS HOME WATCH?

Home Watch is a professional, preventative service that gives you confidence when you’re not on-site. It’s not property management. It’s not housekeeping. It’s not “a neighbor swinging by.”

It’s a certified service designed to monitor and protect unoccupied homes—through regular inspections, reporting, and response.

During each visit, we inspect:

Exterior:

  • Roof, siding, doors, windows
  • Signs of weather damage or attempted entry
  • Yard condition, downed limbs, animal activity
  • Junk mail/flyer removal to reduce vacancy signals

Interior:

  • Plumbing: sinks, toilets, tubs, leaks, and traps
  • HVAC and thermostat systems
  • Breaker panel and electrical system for outages or faults
  • Appliances, alarms, sump pumps
  • Humidity levels, mold signs, pests

Customized requests welcomed, from watering plants to checking specific rooms or systems. Visits are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, and every visit includes a detailed digital report with notes and photos.

Technology is helpful. A trained set of eyes is better—especially when the Wi-Fi’s down.
